DUTCH  RABBITS

 OUR FAVORITE  BREED !!!

 Very striking in appearance, the dutch rabbits always stands out from the crowd.
The Dutch rabbit is a fairly small compact rabbit, with ears stand erect and powerful back legs that are long that their front legs.
 
The most dominant characteristic of the breed has to be the formal attire of its markings, always has white with the addition of another base color.They weight bewteen 3 to 4 1/2 pounds and on average will live from 5- 8 years.  Some case if their are spayed or neutered will live from 10-15 years.

It can be said that the dutch rabbit is a white rabbit dressed in formal attire. Its the classic markings of the dutch breed that make it the aristocrat of all shows distinguishing it apart from any other breed.

The Blaze is the wedge shape white porcion of th head covering the nose, whisker and tapering up bewteen the eyes to the ears whre the joins the hairline.
